Tartarus and Hell.

Don’t be afraid of Hell and the devil, it was already made up elsewhere, so who’s right? Like most of today’s modern religions, many of the stories, holidays, and figures are taken from previous faiths and repackaged for a new culture. Renamed. Tweaked a little. Perhaps no single religion is “right;” perhaps they’re different peoples interpreting the same thing.

Tar·ta·rus [GREEK MYTHOLOGY] 1 a primeval god, offspring of Chaos. 2 a part of the underworld where the wicked suffered punishment for their misdeeds, esp. those such as Ixion and Tantalus who had committed some outrage against the gods. Tar·tar·e·an adj.
